FOGGY MORNING: BURNPILE

Posted by JOEMULLIGAN (Muscatine, Iowa, United States) on 21 March 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

We had thick fog in the morning which made the world etherial and frightening and lovely. I went rambling down the road to a nearby farm where this brushpile evoked some strong feelings for me. Not sure why. But every time I look at it, the image reminds me of the civil war which still lingers (like fog) in these hills.

I'm sorry not to post more often or visit your sites more frequently. I've started my own site at joemulliganphoto dot com and most of my energy is going over there these days. Please stop by if you can and let me know what you think. I'd especially appreciate suggestions...

Just a dynamite shot, Joe. I'm really glad to have found you. Your abstract photos are extraordinary!
